Norwich Union’s PI team moves to Glasgow

Norwich Union’s personal injury team is to move to Glasgow as part of a consolidation process.

Some 41 roles in Norwich Union’s personal injury team will move from Norwich to Glasgow. The move is part of a consolidation process following a number of mergers and acquisitions.

The company said that their operations function has become complex, with too many products, processes, systems and locations. This makes it difficult to give true service excellence to customers and business partners and to optimise economies of scale.

The redesign of the operations function create seven ‘modern insurance centres’ managing customer services, sales, claims and back office administration, which Norwich Union says will improve customer services.
