Solicitor to stand in this year's local elections

Michael Woods will run for Fine Gael in the Carlingford-Dundalk area alongside Cllr Terry Brennan and Dundalk Town Councillor Eamonn O'Boyle. Michael has been practising law for 20 years. He is a partner in Woods Ahern and Mullen solicitors Dundalk.

This is Micahels first time to stand in an election,and he is focused on helping the community in troubled financial times.

He is a keen sportsman who played with the Cooley Kickhams, and Dundalk Young Irelands and is now coaching the Kickhams under-16 team.
