Almost 100 North West surveyors achieve ‘Chartered’ status
98 surveyors in the North West are celebrating this month having achieved “Chartered” status with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).
All have successfully completed the RICS’s Assessment of Professional Competence (APC), a two-to-three year period of structured training which includes practical training, experience and exams, leading to full membership. They can now carry the letters MRICS after their name, which is the world’s leading qualification.
Nearly 1,000 hopefuls were entered for the most recent RICS APC in the UK, with just over 700 being successful. This equates to a 76% pass rate above the national average of 73%.
